About Us
Artist Background
Joel Salinas III was born in April of 1975, and grew up in Northern California. He currently splits his time between South Lake Tahoe and the Easy Bay Area in CA, and travels to Hawaii once a year for work and inspiration.
His love for the arts began early in life, taking shape as he learned to draw with his grandmother and danced as an aspiring B-Boy.
Joel’s artwork today is a surreal, juxtaposed, harmony of wildlife, tropical flora & fauna that especially highlights our ocean, along with his love of sharks & honeybees-two creatures/beings that are so critical to the survival of our home we know as Earth. He loves to use bold, colors and contrast to bring every work of art to life in his own way. Joel enjoys painting in this style to bring joy & harmony to one and all.
